KARMA PTS FOR BEING IN THE OLYMPICS
1) Participant in an event = 5 pts per event
2) Gold Medal = 15 more pts per gold
3) Silver Medal = 10 more pts per silver
4) Bronze Medal = 5 more pts per bronze
5) Judge / Referee = up to a possible 20 pts per event
6) Photo / Film = All quality slide show submittals will earn up to a possible 100 Pts.
a) Any P-villian can take pictures at each event. Photographers can work as a team
b) Then put pictures on a slideshow. Photo teams will make 1 slideshow
c) Slide show has to be under 3 minutes
d) Put solid Olympic closing ceremony music to the slideshow (Suggestion Rocky Theme, Chariots of Fire, Olympic Theme, etc)
e) Put slideshow on youtube and email to King P at mrpatwest@hotmail.com before closing ceremony which is at lunch in Kingdom 3301 the following Friday after the last event (tug-a-war)
f) Slideshows will be viewed at closing ceremony and the best slideshows will get additional pts.
g) Addtional pts for slideshow best, Gold = 200 pts Silver = 100 pts Bronze = 50pts
7) Historians / Journalists = up to a possible 30 pts per event once historian emails to their historic article (write up and picture) like a magazine or newspaper and it is posted on the Olympic Historical Event Blog.
8) Media Blog Chief Editor & Assistant = Up to possible 200 pts.
a) Any P-villian can apply for these two positions. Editor and Assistant will need to work together and be in communication with each other.
b) You will interview with King P and the Olympic Commission.
c) Be prepared to explain why you can, will and deserve to get the job.
d) Job Requirements: ability to create a blog, set up communication (email) with historians / journalists and you (chief editor of blog).
e) You are responsible of getting articles from historians / journalists, reviewing articles, editing and posting them on the blog. Thus, editor should encourage historians to writing articles. The chief editor should also remind historians to email them. Any problems should be reported to Event Coordinator, Olympic Commissioner and King P (mrpatwest@hotmail.com
f) Chief Editor & Assistant will also determine the pay of historian / journalists depending how will articles are written and how much you have to correct /edit. Each time points are given the editor should email the points to the historian but also to King P at mrpatwest@hotmail.com If a journalists / historians did a great job and their article requires little to no editing and you have easy time with it and post it to the blog, then that journalist should get a 30 out of 30. The lamer the article emailed to you and the more work you have to do, the less pts you should give them.
9) Event Coordinator = up to a possible 50 pts (CLICK FOR EVENT CHECKLIST)
a) They make sure all participants, judges, referees, photographers, journalists and citizens are reminded about the event they are coordinating.
b) The make sure all needed items for even are ready in advance.
c) They communicate with King P in advance to assure King P everything is under control.
d) They make sure the event runs smoothly and organized.
e) Event Coordinator wears the Irish Green Hat and info clip board at each event so the Event Coordinator is easily identified at each event.
f) All Olympic athletes and participants need to check in with Event Coordinator for attendance
Event Coordinator determines pay of assistants (judges & referees)
g) Event Coordinator must be effective at organizing crowd, loudly reviewing event rules, starting the event, dealing with sudden problems, dealing with visigothic trouble makers and making sure winners and event documented by photographers, etc.
